GLOBAL VIEW - THE URGENT NEED FOR YOUTHS INVOLVEMENT IN GLOBAL RACE
There is a saying that if you haven’t visit another man’s farm you will think your father’s farm is the biggest.
The world is fast growing everything is now relative to the stand point of globality. We are now in the information age and the world is now a global village.
So, thinking global may seems a bit odd but the reality of your environment have nothing to do with what is happening on the global Stage.
The survival of the 21st century however is no longer measured how well you do in your locality but how well you scale up in the global standard.
The world is innovating and accelerating. Being born in Nigeria naturally cut off the reality of being able to catch up with global pace by 50 years.
So, if all you do is to measure your success based on your locality, My brother, you are simply playing in the game of being the best in an economy that is 50years away from the reality of global pace.
Why thinking Globally?
The next generation of Global leader will not be determined by the ability of might of country’s nuclear power or its number of army, but through economic power.
THE GLOBAL STAGE.
In the 18th, 19th and 20th century, the world is divided by geography in which reality is based on geographic limitations.
But since the beginning of the 21st century, the whole world is now connected together. So countries with remarkable brands can now innovate and infiltrate other countries without waging war.
Gloability is the virtue that makes it possible for other countries to rub other country legally through their innovative might without war or shedding of blood.
So, we leave in Nigeria where 95% of what we use are not produced by us. This is a legal rubbery. Other countries innovate and we spend our money to buy from them -hence transferring our internal wealth legally by innovative force to other countries economy.
This is what is called the global purchasing power.
So, it doesn’t matter how you measure in the locality of Nigeria, if you are not playing in the global game you are gone!
Because 95% of your earnings is used to acquire something not produced by your country. So, it doesn’t matter how much you sweat, we are legally under innovative slavery.
in the years to come, this reality will be more fierce and countries will be incapacitated and unable to sustain their economy due to in ability to innovate and create value that propagate in the global spectrum to deliver a purchasing power that put them at the verge of economic power.
It will come to a point where countries can no longer sustain the liability of their economy because there are no value to exchange to remain relevant on the global stage.
RELATIVE DEATH
You think you are growing in Nigeria, playing local and maintaining a local champion innovative brouhaha while in the real sense you are irrelevant in the global space.
Enough of making noise on Facebook, and being elated by the comments and the likes you get on social media. We need to start focusing on constructive path that will lead us to creating global value.
Being a Nigeria is the younger brother of being cursed. So, you need a double decker passion, drive, power, work, innovation, strategy to make it to the global market. Playing isn't an option. Waiting for APC change turned next level will be a misery.
The reality to strive to beat the unstable reality of Nigeria economy is hard let alone of thinking Global.
In doing this we must be ready to drive. We must be serious and fervent - we must wear the hat of adamancy of will to succeed.
We must think deep enough to start thinking of solution that will pass the test of globality.
INTERNATIONAL IS NOT GLOBAL
So, you collected the address of a friend in Texas and added it on your business card and it gives you the mindset that you are global.
I am sorry to disappoint you, it's an illusion.
Globality is the ability to create a value that equate to nature. With no barrier or limitation for anybody in the world to participate or benefit from that value hence paying for the value - its in this process we bring in global purchasing capital that makes our economy relevant on the global stage.
Water is a global entity, Air is a global entity. The Value of Water remains the same anywhere in the world. So, the brands that are qualified to be called Global are the ones who have the property of nature.
The exhibit the value quantity of standard and consistence across the global spectrum. They remain the same they never change.
To build a global brand, you need to see your self not as citizen of Nigeria in mentality but as a global citizen. The drive and urgency to transform your Village (world) gives you adept participation and revelation to come up with solution driven values that will be global.
Over 1.2 billion people are in darkness in Africa. Dangote the only brand we are proud in Nigeria which I have a lot of respect for is not global but international.
What is international? It’s basic. When you replicate the same work and business environment in the diaspora such that the citizen of Nigeria can relate and have access to your service.
What is Globality? It is creating a value that have no limitation anywhere in the world
It is not limited by location or geography, gender, race, language or any form of disparity reality.
Why is this relevant? If you don't start thinking of this at this stage we are legally signing the misery that will come upon our unborn generation.
To live is not to eat, look good and survive. To live is to pass on value that can be leverage through the process of continuity by coming generations.
Its our duty to raise the flag of foundational relevance on the global stage for our country.
So, at this point I must say the journey is far but each step closer when we act right and on alignment.
