WHAT CAN YOU DO?

This is often the kind of questions we get asked by people occasionally. As trivia as it sounds whenever someone ask you this question they either use your answer to place you for opportunities or place you as someone who doesn't know what he or she is doing.

What can you do defines what opportunities you can harness. When you meet rich people who are in a position to help you, you will hear them say "what can you do?"

THIS IS WHERE THE BULLSHIT BEGINS WITH SOME PEOPLE

People answer like I can sing, I do this and that, I can withstand pressure, I can deliver any task given to me... Bla bla bla

... Bullshit!

Let's come to those who are doing business online. You check their profile, you see things like am a loving, caring, hardworking person, I love God, and all kind of stuffs.

Here is the matter... People are first interested in what you can do for them whenever they meet you.

When you hear questions like that, the person is simply saying I have a problem and looking for who can fix it.

But when you open your mouth to say things like I am an entrepreneur, I am a student, i am looking for jobs, I bake, I sing... You miss the opportunity to be relevant.

WHAT TO DO WHEN SOMEONE ASK YOU SUCH QUESTION

Person: what can you do?

You: I can be instrumental to help you solve any problem in area of xyz.

I also have idea that help you make money in xyz.

How you define what you do matters. It helps people place you for opportunities.

When you meet people always ask what can we do to profit and grow together?

I know you bake, you are a social media person but you need more than that. You need a centralised skills. This skill is what helps you keep opportunities open even when the person isn't in for what you do.

E. G

Person: What can you do?
You: I have a network of quality and smart guys that can be instrumental to anything you want to get done.

More so, I bake for events.

With this you have made yourself more valuable by keeping your value open-ended with the person. If peradventure the person isn't interested in cake, he/she knows you for something valuable and useful.

Aside what you do, build a network of reasonable people around you. Those you can leverage their values to be valuable in front of those that can add money/opportunity value to you.
