1. Self Awareness Most times in my journey of speaking to people and learning leadership, I have come to realize that you can't lead if you don't know. Permit me to say it this way, that if you don't know yourself and understand yourself, you can't lead anyone! You can only manage people and that is not leadership. Lots of people have told their success stories and the hidden failures in the stories. So many of these stories are anchored on one word DEDICATION. I have not paid much attention to the word and what it implies not until I saw the image below. Discussing purpose brought me to this point. Preparing to speak in this topic I decided to check what education means and this is what I found; Education is the process of facilitating learning, or the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits. I was astonished when I saw the last part of the definition "the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits." I also went back to my bag to check my degree graduation video only to hear the vice chancellor of my school say that "I have been found worthy both in character and in learning. Yesterday I was a bit confused. Are you confused, how? I thought you are an inspirational speaker and you have sorted all things out? Yes!!! I was at some point yesterday confused of what to do next, how to go about it, when to go and where to go. I have my plans but I wasn't seeing it, I tried, I fixed my eyes on it to see clear but it was blur. So, I sat down last night to do some few things; 1. I started by counting my blessings and naming them one by one. In doing just that, I found out that God has been faithful and He has been taking me by the hand. 2. Hmmmmm When I walk in to some places now they tend to call me the possibility guy/boy, the visioner, etc. I keep laughing at people in my heart each time I hear them praise and hail me for my sharkara. Do you know why I'm laughing? I never for once believed in anything in the time past. I doubted to the point that God use my dad to heal someone in my very front at the church in Awka 1993/1994, I never believed it was true. I saw a woman in stretcher stand up and rejiocing for a miracle in 2004 after hearing the word of God by Pastor Chris Oyakilome in Ikeja Christ Embassy. While we were praying for some set of sick people, my friend layed hands on the sick people and they got healed. I kept wondering how come all of these miracles, signs and wonders are happening but it's not passing through me!! Na My own different???
